Pop art collectibles. Vinyl art. Toys.
People have been hunters and gatherers for ever. So this seems to be nothing new at first sight. But it is. It is something that takes us back to our childhood where everything was either good or evil, where we had our favorite matchbox car and our favorite big Jim puppet. These vinyl figures are some sort of a time machine taking us back to these easy times. They look as if they have been around when we were kids, but they have not. This is as new as it can get. It is colorful, it is pop and it is art just like a drawing of my son.
I love pop. I love plastic. I love art.

人類自有史以來不斷地在尋覓收集自己喜愛的事物，雖說這樣的習慣不是什麼新奇的事，但直到現在也是如此，這種嗜好引領我們回到那個只有正邪的童年，那個我們把玩著珍愛的火柴盒小汽車和洋娃娃的童年。
現在的公仔就像時光機一般引領我們回到那無憂無慮的年代，似乎在孩提時就存在的公仔，但和過去完全不同的是，他們是全新的，他們是鮮豔的，他們是大眾化的，他們同時也是藝術品，就像我孩子的塗鴉一樣。

[url=http://www.plasticparticles.de/particle.html]Plastic Particles[/url]是德國一群愛好設計師玩具的收藏者所組成的一個網路設計師玩具商店。他們的成員都是平面或網頁的設計師，Plastic Particles在2003年於柏林的Adidas Originals Store舉辦一場包括Pete Fowler、Spanky & Headlock Studio、Tomoyuki Washio和Corsetoys設計作品的玩具展刊物中，負責人Harik Kuerschner所寫的一段序言為設計師玩具下了很好的註解！
